St. James Meeting House in Boardman was the setting on April 29 for the spring wedding of David S. Breitfelder and his bride, Dr. Jeannie M. Fiumara.
The Rev. Larry Klinker officiated at the late afternoon ceremony at 4:30 that united the daughter of Tom and Rita Fiumara of New Middletown and Ken and Betty Robertson of New Springfield and the son of Ron and Nancy Breitfelder of Sarasota, Fla. A mutual friend of the couple, Joseph A. Smith III, traveled from Florida to sing at their wedding.
A reception was held in their honor at Avion on the Water in Canfield that evening and they left for a honeymoon to Hawaii.
The bride wore a one-piece, diamond white, strapless A-line gown with a corseted back and a cut-away satin skirt, revealing an organza inserted panel decorated with modern beadwork that also richly adorned the bodice and train. Her tiara with veil was worn in a shade of silver and she carried a bouquet of colorful gerber daisies.
Amy Foster Gobel of Boardman was the bride's best woman and her bridesmaids were Shannon Bueno of Austintown; Molly Bergman of Boardman; Meghan Sullivan of Rockville, Md.; Briget Lanktree of Oswego, Ill., all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Jessica Gobel of Boardman and Courtney Gobel of Boardman, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Ella Fiumara of Thornton, Colo., cousin of the bride. They wore purple gowns and carried gerber daisies.
Serving as best man for the groom was his brother, Douglas Breitfelder of Cincinnati. His groomsmen included Gregory Breitfelder, brother of the groom; Bradley Jacobs, friend of the groom; Jared Deich, friend of the groom, Jeremy McDaniel, friend of the groom, all of Cincinnati. Junior groomsmen were Jared Bergman of Boardman, godson of the bride; Terrance Fiumara of Youngstown, nephew of the bride; and Ne Shawn Fiumara of Youngstown, also the bride's nephew, was the ring bearer.
A psychologist at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, the bride earned her bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and her master's and doctorate degrees from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
Her husband graduated from the University of Cincinnati and is an assistant director of radiology at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Tallahassee, Fla.
They have made their home in Tallahassee.
